Karlsruhe Trade Fair Centre offers truck drivers a safe place to rest and take a break

The Karlsruhe Trade Fair Centre is expanding its services for truck drivers. With a monitored car park, truckers will find a safe place for their rest and recreation periods all year round.

Since 2009, NUFAM has been the meeting place for truck drivers every two years. Soon, the grounds of the Karlsruhe Trade Fair Centre will be an important 24-hour point of contact for truckers looking for a clean, safe and well-equipped resting and recreation area near the A5 motorway.

As part of the upgrade of the Peter-Gross-Bau area on the outdoor exhibition grounds of the Karlsruhe Trade Fair Centre, around 40 permanent truck parking spaces have been created. Further parking spaces are possible on a temporary basis, depending on the traffic on site.

The parking spaces are equipped with sanitary facilities and a separate truck drainage system. The entire car park area is under video surveillance and therefore secure. Truck drivers can enter and exit at any time due to the camera surveillance.

Bosch Secure Truck Parking

The Karlsruhe Trade Fair Centre works together with Bosch for the truck parking spaces. Bosch's Secure Truck Parking service enables drivers to check whether there are any free spaces while they are still on the road. This means that routes can be planned even more efficiently and safely. After a free registration, it is possible to check the availability of parking spaces online.
