NUFAM 2021: Strong Demand from Exhibitors
The commercial vehicle industry will gather for the seventh NUFAM at Karlsruhe Trade Fair Centre from 30 September to 3 October 2021. Over 60 per cent of the available exhibition space has already been firmly booked or optioned – more than ever before.
The lively interest among exhibitors reflects NUFAM’s importance as a platform for information and investment. When the fair opens in the autumn of 2021, it will be the first major meeting for the diverse commercial vehicle industry since the beginning of the pandemic. Karlsruhe Trade Fair Centre remains in close contact with authorities, exhibitors and partners to assure the safety of all participants.
“We want to offer the commercial vehicle industry this urgently needed platform for personal sharing. Since September, the trade fair industry has shown the effectiveness of hygienic and safety measures adapted in accord with the current risk of infection. Karlsruhe Trade Fair Centre too is very well positioned in this respect: we constantly update our safety concepts in line with the pandemic’s development. Based on this forward-looking planning, we see a green light for NUFAM 2021”, says Britta Wirtz, Managing Director of Karlsruhe Trade Fair Centre.
Project Manager Jochen Bortfeld is similarly confident that NUFAM is indeed well positioned: “We are receiving plenty of positive feedback from the industry for our trade fair’s concept, which focuses on presentations of vehicles and products, while simultaneously providing ample space for personal sharing. We already have numerous confirmed bookings: former exhibitors and new interested parties alike are eager to find their way back into the trade fair business.”
For the upcoming NUFAM, Karlsruhe Trade Fair Centre expects stable numbers of exhibitors and a consistently high level of occupancy with 400 exhibitors on more than 70,000 square metres. The technology on NUFAM’s outdoor area has been upgraded, thus opening up new design potentials for presentations at exhibitors’ stands. The positioning of the stands on the exhibition grounds is currently being planned. Exhibitors who reserve their stands at NUFAM before 27 November 2020 can take advantage of reduced-rate early-bird conditions.
