NUFAM DAY, early bird discount and more – this was NUFAM in 2024 and this is coming in 2025

Preparations for next year's NUFAM are still in full swing. However, things will soon calm down. The year is coming to an end, time to look back.

Advisory board meeting at the end of February

NUFAM benefits from its exhibitors, the exhibitor advisory board and partners. The informative and important advisory board meeting took place at the end of February on the congress level of the Karlsruhe Trade Fair Centre. After all, trade fair exhibitors and visitors can only work together to ensure a successful present and future.

NUFAM DAY in mid-June

With NUFAM DAY, the NUFAM team has had a completely new format in its portfolio for two years. The second event of its kind took place in June – and was a great success. The day began with an exciting discussion on the truck toll and the question of whether it represents a successful climate policy or whether it is merely a tax increase through the back door. After the discussion, the participants and guests were able to continue their conversations and network over good food and an exciting exhibition. Further information about the exhibition, which showcased a lot of new products from manufacturers and suppliers, can be found HERE.

Podcast from July

The NUFAM podcast was launched in the middle of the year. Trade journalist and long-standing industry expert Marcus Walter and project manager Florian Klag talk to industry players about relevant topics. Topics such as how artificial intelligence can help in logistics or how to build a fleet that is CO2-neutral are discussed. All episodes are published HERE, on Spotify and other common podcast players.

Truck Grand Prix in mid-July

At the Nürburgring in the beautiful Eiffel, fans of motorsport and large machines met at the Truck Grand Prix. NUFAM is there every year and showcases itself with its trucks. These will also be on site again next year – and will also be on the race track as part of the big drivers' parade.

IAA in September 2024

The NUFAM team is not only active at its own commercial vehicle trade fair. A presence, good discussions and contracts are also often concluded at competitor events. In September, the entire NUFAM team was at the IAA Transportation in Hannover. There, countless discussions were held with exhibitors and NUFAM from 25 to 28 September 2025 was actively promoted. Among other things, the contract with Wistra Cargo Control and numerous other customers was signed.

New outdoor area in October

Next year, NUFAM will take place across the entire area of Messe Karlsruhe. In addition to the four spacious halls and the atrium, the Peter-Gross-Bau area, which was inaugurated at the beginning of October, will be available as an area for the first time. At 105,000 square metres, the outdoor area is the third largest trade fair outdoor area in the world. NUFAM 2025 will occupy part of it. Start-up Area

After long and intensive planning, the new start-up area was finally presented in November and will be on display at NUFAM for the first time next year. In a shared area, young companies have the opportunity to present themselves and their products to a broad public in a cost-effective but high-profile way and to establish contact with key players in the commercial vehicle segment.

2025

After a short winter break, the NUFAM team will continue preparing for the commercial vehicle trade fair next year. But there is still a lot to do before then. In May, for example, the third NUFAM DAY will take place – this time in a completely new and even more innovative format. Further podcasts will also follow. In addition, the team is preparing a lot of new content for the four days of the trade fair.
